Therapy that is relatable and meets you wherever you are.
Are you struggling to feel like yourself? Do you find yourself feeling lost, tired, and wondering how to get back to a place of balance and peace? No matter what your current life circumstances are, you deserve support and a safe space to start the process of getting back to you.
Individual therapy begins from the intake session. You will take several assessments to help determine the nature, severity, and frequency of your symptoms. From there we will outline a plan to help you manage your symptoms, come up with goals that are tailored to your individual needs, and outline a long-term plan to help you to start moving forward. Together, we will help you to better understand your symptoms, learn evidence based tools to target your symptoms, and come up with a long lasting plan to help you achieve mood regulation, balance, and stability in your life.
Therapy is goal-oriented, confidential, and tailored to your individual goals and needs. Typically, therapy meetings are weekly or bi-weekly and can be in person or via telehealth. The first session is an intake appointment designed for you and your therapist to get to know one another. In this session you and your therapist will discuss various aspects of your history (family/relational components, history of mental health concerns, medical concerns, life, work, and other stressors) and collaborate on your goals to address your individual concerns. The first session is typically more structured as there are many aspects that need to be addressed in this first initial assessment.
