Couples therapy sessions are designed for couples who want to work through concerns that pertain to their relationship together. Sessions begin with the Prepare/Enrich assessment which will help to offer insight and feedback that is unique to your specific relational concerns. Clinical supervision is an ongoing feedback process between a licensed therapist and a pre-licensed therapist. Feedback, support, and continued education occurs during goal-oriented sessions between the supervisor and the supervisee. Each supervision contract is based upon the supervisee’s needs and residency placement. Qualifications for licensure are outlined by the Virginia Board of Counseling. The Anxiety Toolbox for Young Adults course is most ideal for the self-paced learner who wants to learn evidence based skills to target their anxiety related symptoms. You will have 1:1 access to a licensed therapist while you are enrolled as a student. Next enrollment period will be Spring 2024. Learn more about the course here!

The length of treatment depends on each person’s (or couples) unique needs, background, and goals for therapy. During the initial intake session we will discuss the frequency of treatment as well as your treatment goals.
