Not sure where to start?

I specialize in helping clients who are coping with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, confidence issues, & who are looking to change unhelpful behavioral patterns. If you’re interested in counseling but not sure where to start, below is a list of questions that might help you to narrow down what you’d like to focus on in treatment.

Anxiety Concerns:

Do you find it difficult to control your worries?

Do you find yourself replaying conversations and scenarios in your head wondering if you’ve said something wrong or offended someone?

Do you have racing or intrusive thoughts when you’re about to go to sleep, are driving, or trying to relax?

Do you experience symptoms such as, racing heart, sweaty palms, stomach problems, and/or shortness of breath?

Do you find yourself wondering if something bad will happen to you and/or to your loved ones?

Do you feel irritable, hypervigilant, and tense more days than not?

Do you constantly expect the worst case scenarios to happen (and play them over and over again in your head)?

Do you feel physically fatigued and notice that you hold a lot of tension in your body?

If you answered yes to one or more of the questions above, I’ve got just the resource for you!

Self-Confidence Struggles:

Do you find yourself comparing yourself to others?

Do you feel unworthy of “good things” in your life?

Do you struggle with guilt and shame?

Do you find it difficult to communicate your needs to those around you?

Do you engage in negative self-talk and feel that you have a harsh “inner critic?”

Do you find it difficult to say “no” or to set boundaries in your life (with self & others)?

Do you find yourself apologizing for things that you had no part of?

Relationship issues:

Do you feel like you take out stress on your partner?

Do you want to understand how to feel more at ease and fulfilled in your relationships?

Do you currently feel impacted by previous traumatic relationship experiences?

Do you lash out at those around you and then experience guilt/shame after?

Do you find yourself comparing your relationship to those you see on social media?

Do you feel unworthy of a safe and trusting relationship?

Do you find it difficult to communicate your needs to your partner?

Do you feel like your emotional state is sometimes dependent upon your partner’s emotional state? (i.e. if my partner is upset then I become upset)

Breaking Unhelpful Behavior Patterns:

Do you engage in behavior patterns that you know aren’t serving you anymore but are not sure how to break these cycles?

Do you often swing back and forth between having lots of motivation to change your behaviors to having zero motivation and feeling apathetic towards change?

Do you find yourself having the same conversations with your trusted friends/family about how you’d like to quit doing (fill in behavior)?

Do you feel controlled by your behaviors and wonder if you will ever be able to change them?

Do you feel like the fear of changing your behaviors is holding you back from moving forward?
